Why Women Gather.

Yesterday’s Women’s March was an important reminder of why it’s so important for women to gather.

“Human rights are women’s rights, and women’s rights are human rights.” – Hillary Clinton

Women’s March Mission & Vision: We stand together in solidarity with our partners and children for the protection of our rights, our safety, our health, and our families – recognizing that our vibrant and diverse communities are the strength of our country.

Women’s March : GUIDING PRINCIPLES

Women’s rights are human rights, regardless of a woman’s race, ethnicity, religion, immigration status, sexual identity, gender expression, economic status, age or disability. We practice empathy with the intent to learn about the intersecting identities of each other.

Men Who Support Women

The images that made me the most emotional were of men in my life who are Fathers, uplifting their Daughters. Men like these…

Thank you to everyone who marched.

And while it’s great to come out in the masses, I urge each of you to circle with your community of women, regularly. If not weekly, monthly. Host a circle. Engage in your community. We need it. The next generation needs it.

With that said, if you’re in the Los Angeles area and would like to host or co-host a weekly or monthly women’s circle at my studio, contact me at gigi@gigiyogini.com
