Yoga for every age, shape, size, background & ability.

Cultivating Courage & Confidence

Brigitte Kouba Neves, better known as Gigi Yogini, teaches yoga in a way that promotes courage, confidence, and compassion, both on and off the mat. As an advocate for body positivity, Gigi promotes healthy body image through her writing and teaching. Gigi’s public and private yoga classes are designed to strengthen your body and your mind with progressive sequencing, options for modifications, and a constant reminder to listen to the wisdom of your inner teacher.

Well-Rounded Teaching Style

An E-RYT 500 (Expert Registered Yoga Teacher – 500 hrs of certified training), Gigi has been teaching ferociously since 2009. Her signature styles include the YogaWorks method, Vinyasa flow, Yin/Restorative, Prenatal Yoga, and Yoga for Kids. Regardless of the style and audience of the class, Gigi teaches with compassion, encouragement, and a hint of humor. She has deep reverence and gratitude to her many teachers, especially Kia Miller, Psalm Isadora, Jerome Mercier, Suzanne Sterling, and Patti Quintero.

The Body Positive Yoga Community

Gigi particularly loves working with other women. She aims to empower people of all ages, shapes, sizes, backgrounds, races, genders, and abilities to love their bodies. In 2014, Gigi started a blog called YOGAudacious to celebrate courageous women who love yoga. This is where she met body positive power houses like Melanie Klein, Cami Cote, Dianne Bondy, Anna Guest-Jelley, Oneika Mays, Thea Pueschel, Erica Mather, Dana Smith, and Dr. Chelsea Jackson Roberts! With inspiration from all, the Yoga and Body Image Coalition was born. The Coalition is a progressive community of doctors, teachers, experts, and advocates creating access to yoga with dignity for all.

Every Body Workshops

Gigi had partnered with YogaWorks to offer a monthly Yoga for Every Body workshop. Each month will be hosted at a different YogaWorks studio. Each workshops will include a body image discussion, exploration of props, mindul breath-work, relaxing movement, plus an optional photo shoot to participate in a Body Positive social media challenge.
